The airport is easily accessible to I-85 exit 126, SR 316, and rail, has five corporate hangers, 44 T-hangers, 12 tie-downs, five ground leases with hangers, and other land leases with 20 T-hangers and 15 more tie-downs, a terminal building with pilot's lounge, flight planning facilities, and two concrete runways. Runway 13/31 is 5,500 x 100 with a precision instrument landing system and Runway 05/23 is 3,610 x 100.

The airport has a fixed base operator (FBO), Romanair, which offers fueling and aircraft maintenance services. The airport is also home to the Georgia Army National Guard's 148 Medical Company, Aircrane Inc., a construction helicopter operator, Dragonfly Aviation, flight school, and Georgia Avionics. The airport's planning consultant is Lead Edge Design Group.
